Pat Crowell Hodge and her husband, Jim Crowell, re-located from Alabama to Texas in 1977. Later that year, she started, owned and operated two executive suite/secretarial services. In 1982, Crowell & Associates, Inc. opened for business in one of her executive suites; however, she sold the business in 1987 in order to assist Jim with C&A, Inc. After his sudden passing in 1993, she became CFO of the business.
In the past, Pat has served as Vice President of Membership for her HOA, was on the board of McKinney Christian Academy’s Grandparents Association and worked in several volunteer positions in her church, including Co-Director and Director of the Women's Ministry. For several years, she and Jim hosted weekly bible study groups in their home which she continued after his passing. Today she serves on various boards, including the Plano Symphony Orchestra, Fellowship of Professional Women, New Friends New Life, and President-Elect of the recently formed NFNL Auxiliary.
In 1995, God again bountifully blessed Pat in her marriage to Al Hodge, who was chief pilot for a local bank, Plains Capital Corporation. After a year long illness, he passed away in May 2009. Their blended family includes four sons, three daughters-in-law, and six grandchildren. She is the proud grandmother of Stephen and Maya’s two children, Stevie and Emily; and Kelly and Alesha’s two children, Kennedy and Drake who are the pride and joy of her heart.
Pat says she enjoys the flexibility of working in a family business that allows her to do the things that matter most and, hopefully, make a difference. She also says that God has blessed her with the privilege of working with her three sons and two daughters-in-law.
